WHAT ARE COOKIES?

According to the time they remain stored in the user’s browser, the following distinctions are made:

- Persistent cookies: Data remains stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie’s controller, ranging from a few minutes to several years.
According to the purpose for which the obtained data are processed, the following types of cookies are distinguished:
- Technical cookies: enable user navigation through a website, platform, or application and the use of different options or services available, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted access parts, remembering elements that make up an order, carrying out the purchase process of an order, making a request for registration or participation in an event, using security elements during navigation, storing content for the dissemination of videos or sound, or sharing content through social networks.
- Personalization cookies: Allow the user to access the service with some general predefined features based on criteria on the user’s terminal, such as language, type of browser through which they access the service, regional settings from where they access the service, etc.
- Analysis cookies: Enable the controller to monitor and analyze the behavior of users of the linked websites. The information collected through this type of cookies is used to measure the activity of websites, applications, or platforms and to create navigation profiles of users of such sites, applications, and platforms, in order to make improvements based on the analysis of user service usage data.
- Advertising cookies: Allow for the most effective management of advertising spaces.
- Behavioral advertising cookies: Store information about users’ behavior obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, allowing the development of a specific profile to display ads accordingly.
- External social media cookies: Used to enable visitors to interact with content from different social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and are generated only for users of these social networks. The use of these cookies and the collected information are regulated by the privacy policy of the respective social platform.

LEGITIMATION AND STORAGE PERIOD OF COOKIES INSTALLED IN YOUR BROWSER
